If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with a purchase for any reason, you may return it to us for store credit or an exchange. We invite you to review our policy on refunds and returns.
The following terms are applicable for any products that you purchased with us.
Interpretation and Definitions
The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions.
The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.
For the purposes of this Return and Refund Policy:
- You: means the individual accessing or using the Service, Purchasing the Product or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service or Purchasing the Product, as applicable.
- Company: (referred to as either “the Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our” in this Agreement) refers to El Afrique by Whitney Enterprises
Service: refers to the Website, Social Media pages owned by El Afrique, and our verified contact numbers.
- Website: refers to El Afrique, accessible from elafrique.com
- Goods: refer to the items offered for sale on the Service.
- Orders: mean a request by You to purchase Goods from Us.
Conditions for Returns
In order for the Goods to be eligible for a return, please make sure that:
- The Goods were purchased in the last 7 working days
- The Goods are in the original packaging and condition in which they were delivered/picked up.
The following Goods cannot be returned:
- The supply of Goods made to Your specifications or clearly personalized.
- The supply of Goods that have visible defect, discoloration and odour
- The supply of Goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.
- The supply of Goods returned after 5 days
- The supply of Goods being returned must be in new and unused condition, with all original tags and labels attached. Any supply of Goods that have been worn, washed or appear used will not be accepted
We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions in our sole discretion.
Kindly note that we will not issue any refunds on the aforementioned as well as the supply of Goods delivered to You according to the specifications shared with the Company via text message, call, or via social media by You.
Unfortunately, Goods on sale cannot be refunded.
You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the Goods to Us. You should send the Goods at the following address:

We cannot be held responsible for Goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, we recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the Goods or proof of received return delivery.
After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of your item, we will process your return or exchange. Please allow at least fourteen (14) days from the receipt of your item to process your return or exchange. We will notify you via WhatsApp, Instagram Direct Message or email when your return has been processed.
The lead time for custom made Goods to be completed is takes 4-9 working days per item. The Company reserves the right to extend this period during high traffic periods. No refunds will be issued for the extended lead time.
You are required to pay a 60% deposit to place an order. Once orders are completed you are required to pay balance before collection or dispatch. Failure to do so, the Company reserves the right to apply a delay fee.
We have a no cash refund policy.
You are welcome to return your item to us for store credit or an exchange. Kindly note we will raise a credit note worth the same value of the purchase within 7 working days. This credit note is redeemable within 90 days.
